In response to Karen Forsyth’s Tuesday letter on Smith’s and Visa cards:
No one should fault Smith’s for refusing to pay the higher bank fees. Would Ms. Forsyth be upset if Smith’s continued to accept Visa credit cards but raised its prices? Ms. Forsyth’s complaint would be better directed at greedy Visa.
It’s the prices inside the casino that matter most.
District employees living the good life.
America can no longer afford to subsidize the rest of the world.
