GIRLS SOCCER: Anderson’s goal lifts Gators over Skyhawks

Kayla Anderson’s goal with 12 minutes left in the second half Monday lifted Green Valley’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Silverado.

Linde Ranieri also scored for Green Valley.

Rose Covarrubias netted Silverado’s goal.

Foothill 3, Coronado 3 — At Foothill, Katherine Ballou’s goal with less than two minutes to play allowed the host Falcons to tie the Cougars.

Drea Austin had two goals and an assist, and Ballou also had an assist for Foothill.

Taylor Houston, Kasey Ficklin and Michaela Morris each scored a second-half goal for Coronado.

Las Vegas 3, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Mackenzie McCoy, Alica Nunez and Lizbeth Camacho each scored once to lift the Wildcats over the Rams.

Chanel Eliason scored on a free kick for Rancho.

Canyon Springs 1, Valley 0 — At Valley, Vanessa McNair’s first-half goal accounted for all of the scoring as the Pioneers edged the Vikings.

Palo Verde 1, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Palo Verde, Serenity Grim scored the lone goal 17 minutes into the second half to lead the Panthers over the Mustangs.

Jordan Goyeau made five saves to earn the shutout.

Arbor View 5, Spring Valley 0 — At Arbor View, Bailee Davis, Vanessa Lourenco and Breanna Larkin each had a goal and an assist to lead the Aggies by the Grizzlies.

Sasha Escamilla and Taylor Gill each added a goal, and Jamie Wilson had two assists for Arbor View.

Kylee Wallace stopped the only shot she faced to earn the shutout.

Sierra Vista 8, Durango 1 — At Durango, Calista Reyes scored three goals, and Sophia Omidiji added two goals and an assist to help the Mountain Lions defeat the Trailblazers.

Angelina Iniguez scored twice, and Sabrina Mallett added a goal and an assist for Sierra Vista, which got two assists from Courtney Shay.

Austin Martines scored Durango’s goal.

Eldorado 14, Del Sol 0 — At Eldorado, Kimberly Olivares had five goals and three assists, and Vanessa Sanabria had two goals and three assists as the Sundevils blitzed the Dragons.

Ruby Arias scored twice, and Jacquie Avila added a goal and an assist for Eldorado, which also got goals from Brianna Duran, Vanessa Rojo-Martinez and Madison Granger.

Hannah Pewtress was credited with the shutout.

Basic 1, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Tristan Radley scored a second-half goal to lead the Wolves over the Patriots.

Goalkeeper Julia Gardner got the shutout.
