Edwards rushes for 231 yards as Longhorns shut out Mojave

Legacy's Deshae Edwards rushed for 231 yards, including touchdowns of 20, 74 and 76 yards, on 10 carries as the fifth-ranked Longhorns (3-0) shut out visiting Mojave (0-2).

Legacy quarterback Devin Weidemann had two completions, both for touchdowns: 45 yards to Chris Lyle and 10 to Marcus McCollum.

Lyle scored on a 98-yard kickoff return to open the second half.

Martell Crockett had a 60-yard run for Legacy’s final touchdown.

Mojave running back Ronald Adams rushed for 78 yards.
