Man dead after shooting near I-15 and Desert Inn

A man is dead after a shooting near Desert Inn Road and Interstate 15, Las Vegas police said.

Metropolitan Police Department officers were called at 3:23 p.m. to 3230 W. Desert Inn Road, near South Rancho Drive, west of Interstate 15, where a passenger inside a car had been shot multiple times, the department said just before 4 p.m.

The man in his 20s died at the scene, police said. The driver of the Oldsmobile Cutlass was not injured.

As of Tuesday night, homicide detectives were still investigating but said a dispute may have led to the gunshots. No suspects were in custody and no description was released.
