Outlook: The Panthers are very young, but deep in talent. Six of the seven girls who made it to state last year as a team were either freshmen or sophomores, with Coombs and Vanderstelt both top-10 among all freshmen at state in 2007.
There was no talk about ranking systems Tuesday at Allegiant Stadium. Just special memories being created by the eight schools fighting for state titles.
