A man was critically wounded in a shooting in Jean Wednesday night, according to Las Vegas police.

Police were dispatched to the shooting at 1 Main St., about 30 miles south of Las Vegas, about 10 p.m., Metro call logs show.

A man was shot and wounded across a gas station in a desert area, Metro Lt. Kendell Bell said. The shooter was not arrested.
