LETTER: In response to a writer who doesn’t like Joe Biden

I keep listening to the Democrats whining about the Republicans not being willing to negotiate to fund our country.

Here they go again. Gov. Joe Lombardo has announced a legislative special session and the unions immediately started beating the drum for massive tax incentives for the TV and film industry.

Once again the main issue is lost as Congress bumbles about when it comes to funding the federal government.

I recently went to the Mandalay Bay to watch the amazing Las Vegas Aces play. The parking fees were outrageous.

This seems to me as good a reason as any to cancel this boondoggle.

The lieutenant governor of Nevada, Stavros Anthony, submitted three bills to the Legislature last session, and all three were shot down

A hat tip to Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, who understands the importance to Nevada of reopening the federal government.

Although our illustrious leaders (tongue in cheek) believe that breaking everything down into little categories keeps us from knowing how they nickel-and-dime us to death, it doesn’t elude us.

So what to do? Return to the old ways and watch the scores improve.

Hundreds of billions have been raised to fund AI and other associated businesses. It is far too early to determine the economic impact.
