Detectives seek information on body found in Lake Mohave

Las Vegs police are asking for the public’s help in investigating the death of a 27-year-old man whose body was found Wednesday at Lake Mohave.

The body of Domingo Alva-Gonzalez was found floating near a beach at Cottonwood Cove about 3 p.m., according to the National Park Service.

Homicide detectives are now looking for information about the circumstances of Alva-Gonzalez’s death.

Anyone who knew Alva-Gonzalez or may have seen him Tuesday or Wednesday in the Cottonwood Cove area should call Metro’s homicide section at 702-828-3521 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com. Tips directly leading to an arrest through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
