The abuser gets out with a $50 fine (“Man arrested, posts bond after dog is tossed into Las Vegas dumpster,” Saturday Review-Journal)? What is wrong with the people in power? If consequences were felt, maybe people would think twice about abusing an animal. Animals deserve stricter laws. We are the only voice they have. Thank goodness the chihuahua is OK.
