The Real ID Act was passed in 2005 and scheduled to be implemented in 2008. It was passed in response to the 9/11 tragedy. As with many things by our government, the implementation was postponed over and over again. Americans were given 17 years to get their IDs. It is a case of too bad so sad for those who procrastinated.
If they aren’t here, they can’t break our laws in the first place.
When our society requires armed guards at a house of worship, it is a sad commentary on our time.
