An invite to Miss Ne-vah-duh

It is more than a little embarrassing to find out that Miss Nevada Nia Sanchez, who was recently crowned Miss USA, never really lived in Nevada long (if at all) and on a recent radio show couldn’t identify the state capital, Carson City.

Alas, what to do? Here’s an idea. Before Nia heads out to represent America, how about a crash course in her home state — she visit Battle Born Media newspapers located in real Nevada.

That would include, but not be limited to, Mesquite, Panaca, Caliente, Pioche, Overton, Logandale, Glendale, Ely, McGill, Ruth, Eureka and Hawthorne.

Battle Born Media editors will be happy to show her around, introduce her to some real Nevadans and then, if she needs it, point her in the direction of Carson City.

Just an idea. And a good one.
