Pedestrian critically injured in Las Vegas accident

A crash left a pedestrian hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Saturday night, according to Las Vegas police.

The collision occurred about 8:10 p.m. near the Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard intersection.

The pedestrian was sent to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in “very critical” condition, said Metro spokesman Jose Hernandez.

Additional details about the incident were not immediately available.

Metro’s fatal detail, which handles all crashes involving fatalities and critical injuries, will investigate.
