Man in wheelchair who died in vehicle crash identified

The Las Vegas man who died after a vehicle hit him in his wheelchair in the downtown area Saturday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

David Livingston, 55, was initially treated for a broken leg, but he later died at University Medical Center. The cause and manner of his death had not yet been determined Sunday.

The accident occurred at the intersection of East St. Louis and Santa Paula drives about 2:30 p.m.

A Las Vegas police lieutenant told the Review-Journal the driver of the white Trailblazer that struck the man was not cited.
