The baby whose Thursday death was being investigated by Las Vegas police has been identified.

Police responded to the 3800 block of Mountain Vista Street just before 1 p.m. Thursday, where they found 5-month-old Jayden Leech unresponsive. Officers performed CPR before he was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the death appeared to be accidental. The Clark County coroner’s office has not yet released Leech’s official cause of death.
