Harry Christmas, Republicans

Oh, the things Nevada’s most senior U.S. Senator, Harry The Reid, says.
2008, in the book “Game Change”: “(Reid’s) encouragement of Obama was unequivocal. He was wowed by Obama’s oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama — a ‘light-skinned’ African American ‘with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,’ as he said privately. “
Dec. 5, 2013: “I think (Lucy Flores) could beat them all. Demographically, she’s perfect. Young, dynamic, Hispanic. She’s great.”
Dec. 15, 2013: “We live in a society where you can’t denigrate a race of people. And that’s what that is. I mean, you can’t have the Washington Blackskins. I think it’s so shortsighted.”
No “Washington Blackskins,” as Sen. Reid so charmingly puts it, but he touts a candidate for lieutenant governor by using skin color and ethnicity as a primary qualification is A-OK?
Harry Christmas, Republicans. Sen. Reid is “the gift” that just keeps giving.
