Vehicle strikes house in southeast Las Vegas; no injuries reported

A vehicle slammed into a house near Eastern Avenue and Oakey Boulevard Monday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.

Officers responded to the crash in the 1700 block of South Eastern Avenue about 3:30 p.m., police spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.

Preliminary reports indicate that the driver appeared to hit a nearby light pole before hitting the house, Meltzer said.

No injuries have been reported and it does not appear to be blocking any lanes of traffic, Meltzer said.
