Woman stabbed to death identified; Las Vegas police arrest suspect

The woman who died from multiple stab wounds July 26 has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Amber Lorraine Peirson , 25, from Las Vegas, was found by Las Vegas police in the 4000 block of Sunrise Avenue, near Charleston and Lamb boulevards. Her time of death was about 4:30 a.m., the coroner’s office said.
Police arrested a suspect in the case, Christopher Rodrigo Salguero, 23, on Thursday . He faces a charge of first-degree murder.
Salguero is being held at the Clark County Detention Center and is scheduled for a court hearing at 7:30 a.m. Friday.
