A doctor was arrested Thursday after a representative from North Vista Hospital reported the sexual assault of an older patient, according to North Las Vegas police.

Mane Shah, 34, was arrested on one count of sexual assault and one count of open and gross lewdness involving a 68-year-old woman during her stay at the hospital, according to police.

Shah posted his bond later that evening and was released. He is not under house arrest or supervision, police said.

Shah has privileges to practice at North Vista Hospital, St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, and Mountain View Hospital.
