Harmony opened Aviano in Henderson last month

Harmony Homes, a locally owned and operated builder, logged its best sales year last year, according to company President Robert Beville.

The builder opened a new neighborhood, Aviano, last month. Located in Henderson, the gated community offers two floor plans, measuring 1,436 and 1,482 square feet, with prices from the $130,000s.

Both of Aviano’s floor plans are two-story and feature three bedrooms, 2½ baths and an upstairs laundry area. The open floor plans also include an upstairs loft.

Standard features include granite kitchen countertops, paver driveways and a community pool.

Beville said the community, which includes the builder’s five-star energy certification, is “the best value buyers are going to find for a new single-family, detached home in Southern Nevada.”

“Savvy buyers know that the local housing market has been heating up over the past year, and new-home inventory is in high demand,” Beville said.
“Our buyers have always told us the high quality of our homes is their main reason for buying from Harmony Homes. Now, they’re also telling us that they would much rather buy new and get the home of their dreams at a very affordable price, than go through all the hassle of purchasing a used home.”

All Harmony homes are part of the builder’s five-star energy certification, which includes energy-efficient features such as radiant barriers to help reduce heat transfer through the roof and attic; low-e windows that help reflect heat away from the glass; vinyl window frames for insulation; and 13 seasonal energy efficiency rating heating, ventilation and cooling systems that hold the government-recommended 13 rating and use less energy per unit.

Homes also feature sealed ducts and upgraded insulation to help reduce energy consumption.

“Aviano will be very popular because buyers know it’s a great product at an unbelievable price, but interest rates won’t stay low forever and home prices are on the rise, so now is the time to buy new,” Beville said. “Buyers are finding that many of the used homes out there are foreclosures in poor condition, or short sales that don’t include the amazing modern features that are standard in our homes. With Harmony Homes, you know that you’re getting high quality and good value from a local company.”

Beville said the community is “surrounded by amenities residents will care about and use,” including schools, grocery stores, shopping, downtown Henderson, and a hospital.

Beville also noted that Aviano is only a five-minute drive from Lake Las Vegas and the Galleria at Sunset mall.

Aviano is at the intersection of Lake Mead Drive and Boulder Highway. To visit, take either U.S. Highway 95 south to Lake Mead Drive, or take the Las Vegas Beltway east to Lake Mead Drive. Go east on Lake Mead Drive through the intersection at Boulder Highway and turn left on Cholla Street. Aviano is on the left side of the street.

Harmony Homes has sold more than 1,200 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008, according to Beville.

It offers 10 neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada, with one- and two-story homes priced from the $130,000s and ranging from 1,436 to 4,900 square feet.

It is also offering four new communities in Texas and two in Southern California.

Sales offices are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Monday, when they open at noon. For more information, call 702-685-2130, or visit www.harmonyhomes.com.
