1. Vintage & Vines: The annual fundraiser for Adam’s Place for Grief is planned from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 7 at Land Rover of Las Vegas, 5255 W. 2. Summerlin Half Marathon: The sixth annual Summerlin Half Marathon is slated for 7 a.m. April 10 at Downtown Summerlin, 1980 Festival Plaza Drive. It features a 13.1-mile course that begins and ends at Downtown Summerlin and includes a tour of several Summerlin villages and a chip-timed run/walk. Top male and female finishers in varying age groups will be recognized; all participants will receive medals and T-shirts. A portion of the proceeds benefits the nonprofit Girls on the Run. 3. Bluegrass Festival Craft Market: The city of Las Vegas is set to host the 2016 Bluegrass Festival’s Craft Market from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 9 at Durango Hills Park, 3545 N. Durango Drive. Tour De Summerlin Cycling Event: Hundreds of cyclists are expected to participate in the 15th annual Tour de Summerlin April 16 at Downtown Summerlin, 1980 Festival Plaza Drive. Cyclists for the 80-mile ride begin at 7 a.m.; cyclists for the 60-mile ride begin at 7:45 a.m.; and cyclists for the 40-mile ride begin at 8:30 a.m. The non-competitive cycling event includes the community’s dedicated bike routes as well as open desert roads. Crazy Spokes: The city of Henderson plans to host a bicycle festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m April 9 at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water St. In addition to bicycle vendors and a health fair, people can participate in a 30-mile bike ride, which costs $20 per adult, $10 per child and $5 per person on a family ride. Art Train: Residents can help raise money for the scholarship fund at the nonprofit City Lights Art Gallery, 3 E. Army St., by riding the Art Train from 5:30 to 9 p.m. April 9, with boarding planned at the Nevada Southern Railway, 601 Yucca St., in Boulder City. Cadillac Through the Years: The 11th annual event, sponsored by the Cadillac & LaSalle Club of Las Vegas and Findlay Cadillac of Henderson, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 10 on Main Street at The District at Green Valley Ranch, 2240 Village Walk Drive. Eighty-eight cars representing 114 years of Cadillac’s history are set to be on display, with cars dating from 1902 to present. Call for musicians: The nonprofit Las Vegas Young Artists Orchestra is seeking applications for its new Academy Orchestra program for youths 15 or younger who show significant potential. The free program will welcome up to 50 new students who will work alongside internationally recognized guest artists and perform regularly throughout the year. The application deadline is April 8. EMSUM Designs include semi-precious gemstone horsetail malas, crystal geode Brazilian agate necklaces incorporating hand-rolled alpaca and wrist rocks. New Pathways Cafe: The program for people experiencing early memory loss and their loved ones is scheduled to begin May 5 at Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road. The cafe is planned from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays for 16 weeks, with a breakfast and mid-morning snacks in between programs. The group is for people with an early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or other memory loss/dementias and offers a positive setting for participants to adjust to memory loss and explore personal concerns within a comfortable social environment. Red Rock marathon: Triple Dare Running Co. plans its spring race, Flight of Fire Trail Half Marathon & 10K, for May 14 at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, 1000 Scenic Loop Drive. Starting at the Visitor Center, the course will travel clockwise to the Moenkopi Loop, the Grand Circle Loop, and the White Rock-Willow Springs Trail, then to the White Rock dirt road, back to the Grand Circle Loop, on to the Calico Hills Trail, and finally back to the Moenkopi Loop, finishing back at the center. This course is a technical trail race, and trail shoes with gaiters are recommended. The 10K follows the same course, ending at the White Rock aid station. Shuttle service will be provided to return 10K runners to the start area. This event is limited to 200 participants. Visit tripledareruns.com.

Unite@night Walk: The Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation plans to host the event at 7:30 p.m. June 11 at the Kellogg-Zaher Soccer Complex, 7901 W.
