Portraits of Authority
In the wake of two controversial officer-involved shootings in the summer of 2010, the Review-Journal set out to analyze two decades of shootings in the Las Vegas Valley by working from police reports, coroner’s inquest transcripts, civil and criminal court files and other records, as well as interviews with officers, relatives of those who have died and experts in police training and administration. Seen here are some of many police officers, administrators and other authorities interviewed for this series.
