R-JENERATION: What do you think of the new cellphone law?

Katherine Knott interviewed students at Faith Lutheran Junior/Senior High School.

Brooke Jones, Senior

"I think it is ridiculous. It's stupid. Tons of people die every day from things that should be illegal, but they take away cellphones. They can legalize marijuana but they can't legalize talking on the phone."

Aaron Chan, Senior

"I totally agree with it, especially with what happened to Christina Portaro. It's a major public safety hazard. The whole country should do the same."

Brooke Bakes, Junior

"I feel that it is a safe law. It will cause less teens to crash."

Andrea Brown, Senior

"I think it's an appropriate law to put on in the Vegas community. The law is fine."

Karina Antonino, Junior

"I feel it's completely necessary. I do think that people will continue to talk on the phone until it's more enforced.
