Mint Juleps and Mums, a special event celebrating mothers and grandmothers, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Parkdale Community Center, 3200 Ferndale St. This Kentucky Derby-themed event is free and open to the public. Mothers pampering planned
A Mothers Day Pamper Party is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday leaving from Parkdale Community Center at 3200 Ferndale St. Mothers are invited to come on a special trip including lunch and a pick from various salon services. AMA Supercross planned
The Monster Energy American Motorcycle Association Supercross is scheduled at 7 p.m. at Sam Boyd Stadium, 7000 E. Russell Road.

The Sunrise and Whitney libraries are set to celebrate Mothers Day with special story and craft times.
Children 5 or younger are invited to Mothers Day story time from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Sunrise Library, 5400 Harris Ave.

Yu-Gi-Oh! open dueling scheduled
