D.R. Horton offers ‘FROG’ floor plans to add space

FROG (Flex Room Over Garage) floor plans by D. R. Horton are hopping up in and around the Henderson area.

Southern Hills, a new-home planned community, offers single-story living with this plan.

"D.R. Horton has developed the reputation of the premiere single-story builder in the Las Vegas Valley" said Jeff Ward, director of sales for D.R. Horton's Las Vegas division. We commissioned the design of our FROG plans to enable us to offer popular single-story features to Las Vegas home shoppers and give them a little more bang for their bucks. The additional space provides room for additional bedrooms, bonus rooms or man caves.

FROG plans provide great rooms, downstairs laundry facilities and master suites. The homes at Southern Hills range from 2,660 to 3,480 square feet.

As more families experience "shared home" living, D.R. Horton fills a great need with the 3480 plan, according to Ward. Three-car garages, dual master suites and open living spaces, give larger families personal space options, he said.

Southern Hills Models are open daily until 5 p.m. Travel east on Horizon Ridge Road, in Henderson, one block east of Eastern Avenue to the community entrance and follow the signs. Take a tour of Southern Hills this weekend and enjoy a complimentary frozen yogurt from U-Swirl.

Two new communities are coming soon to Henderson locations. Riviera Ridge will feature D. R. Horton's fine Estate Series living at Stephanie Street and Arroyo Grande Boulevard.
