Hyundai Sonata blends in at valet, grocery store

Danette Cicillini was looking for a sport utility vehicle when she began shopping for a new vehicle last August. One look at the 2011 Sonata sitting on the showroom floor at Planet Hyundai and she quickly changed her mind.

"I walked into the showroom floor and decided after driving another vehicle to take a ride in the Sonata," said Cicillini, a 16-year resident of Las Vegas who works as floor supervisor in the poker room of the Bellagio. "I asked my sales consultant if we could get the Sonata out of the showroom and take it for a ride. He said no problem and away we went."

As soon a Cicillini and her sales consultant Anthony Fisher arrived back at Planet Hyundai, the deal was all but done.

"It rides like a Lexus," said Cicillini. "It rides so smooth and has all the bells and whistles. I have heated seats, XM Radio, navigation, hands-off phone, leather interior, a sunroof and a button that actually opens my garage door so that I don't even have to use my clicker like I did in the past."

Cicillini also liked the 10-year warranty, which is unmatched in the automobile business, and the Sonata's keyless ignition.

"The Sonata turns heads everywhere I go," she said. "The car fits in no matter where I go whether it's the grocery store or valet. It's very sporty looking. Young kids that park my car in valet love it."

Cicillini chose the four-cylinder power plant offered by Hyundai. She said the car gets about 27-28 miles per gallon.

"The power is so good that it drives like a six cylinder," she said. "It's very smooth and I have plenty of power, that's for sure. It's a great car and if anyone ever asks me about it, I definitely recommend the car, the Planet Hyundai dealership and their staff."

Cicillini said Fisher was patient and didn't rush the purchase.

"There was absolutely no pressure at all with him," she said.
