Faith Lutheran students take time out of class to help others

About 600 middle school students from Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School, 2015 S. Hualapai Way, participated in the school’s annual service event Jan. 13 and were bused to more than 20 locations around the Las Vegas Valley, including at-risk elementary schools, senior centers, veterans homes and charities.

‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ coming to CSN as part of SchoolFest

The Utah Shakespeare Festival has performances of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Nicholas J. Horn Theatre on the College of Southern Nevada’s Cheyenne campus. Las Vegas Academy graduate Kristen Henley will play the role of Puck.
