The designer of the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign, Betty Willis, 91, died Sunday at home in Overton, about 65 miles northeast of Las Vegas. That same day, Brian “Buzz” Leming, 74, also died. Leming worked on neon icons including the signs for the Stardust, Barbary Coast and Westward Ho.

 
Jarret Stoll out on bond after Las Vegas arrest

Las Vegas Police said Stoll was arrested at the Wet Republic pool at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Multiple reports indicated that he was charged with cocaine possession.
