The Make-A-Wish Foundation brought Lauren Cleveland her wish: a golden retriever puppy. The dog may become Cleveland’s service animal, accompanying her to treatments for neurofibromatosis, a brain tumor on her optic nerve.
Albany Police officer David W. Haupt is recorded on an Albany County sheriff deputy’s body camera on Nov. 1, 2020. Haupt, who joined the force in 2016, was suspended for 30 days on Wednesday while the department investigates body camera footage where Haupt is heard making racists remarks.
