The banner honors the 58 victims of the Oct. 1 Strip shooting. Knights majority owner and chairman Bill Foley and general manager George McPhee also were on the ice, along with the family of shooting victim Neysa Tonks.

A head-on collision Friday morning sent four people to the hospital with injuries police say were not life threatening. The crash occurred when the driver of a Honda Accord attempted to turn left onto Flamingo from Swenson Street. Police were not sure if either driver was impaired.

The 20-year-old arrived on Thursday morning, accompanied by heavy security. Yousafzai was an advocate for girls education, writing under a pseudonym. When she was 14, she was shot in the head by the Taliban. She was rushed by an air ambulance to Britain for treatment.
