The Las Vegas 51s kicked off their season with their final home opening game at Cashman Field.
Bishop Gorman’s baseball team took down Clearfield (Utah) on Thursday, 6-2. Tyler Curtis homered in the first inning to give the Gaels a 2-0 lead. They added three more in the third, and one in the fourth. Parker Aquino threw six innings, allowed two runs, three hits and struck out eight. Gorman improved to 11-2 on the year.
