Bellfield shines as Rebels rally to defeat Colorado State

The Rebels showed resiliency when they needed it most, and Oscar Bellfield led the rally by scoring 16 of his 18 points in the second half of a 68-61 comeback victory over Colorado State on Saturday.

UNLV stadium plan gets OK

The higher education system’s Board of Regents gave its initial OK on Friday to a plan that would build a 40,000-seat domed stadium on campus. The stadium would be accompanied by thousands of units of on campus housing, 600,000 square feet of retail space, a spacious outdoor gathering spot and parking for thousands of cars.

Regents to consider UNLV stadium deal

No fewer than a dozen stadium and arena proposals have emerged in Southern Nevada over the past 15 years, and most of those have fizzled. Today, the Board of Regents meets to consider whether to provide exclusive negotiations to Majestic Realty with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, regarding the construction of an on-campus stadium and other major improvements.
