It’s no wonder why author Ernestine Ulmer advised individuals to eat dessert first: life is always better when you have some sugar. So, it was sweet when college friends Ashley Mastowski and Kristen LoVullo combined their passion for pastries and business backgrounds to open Gimme Some Sugar in 2009.
