A woman who was hit by a truck in east Las Vegas Saturday afternoon has died from her injuries, Las Vegas police said. Jasmin Bryant, 23, was hit by a 2004 Ford F-150 while crossing Bonanza Road near Mojave Road. She was taken to University Medical Center, where she died the next day, police said.

A North Las Vegas police officer shot and killed a homeless man after an early-morning confrontation Monday. A patrol officer stopped the man walking near Tonopah Avenue and Woodard Street about 1:10 a.m., officer Chrissie Coon said. The officer shot the man a few minutes later, she said.
