A woman who was hit by a truck in east Las Vegas Saturday afternoon has died from her injuries, Las Vegas police said. Jasmin Bryant, 23, was hit by a 2004 Ford F-150 while crossing Bonanza Road near Mojave Road. She was taken to University Medical Center, where she died the next day, police said.

The man shot by Las Vegas police last week confronted officers with a fake gun, police said Monday. Las Vegas police are looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery early last week. The man went into a shop near Rancho Drive and Cheyenne Avenue about 9:30 p.m. on March 3, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cash register, police said.
A North Las Vegas police officer shot and killed a homeless man after an early-morning confrontation Monday. A patrol officer stopped the man walking near Tonopah Avenue and Woodard Street about 1:10 a.m., officer Chrissie Coon said. The officer shot the man a few minutes later, she said.
Las Vegas police were investigating a shooting at a park near UNLV that left one person hospitalized in critical condition Sunday night. Police received multiple calls about gunshots about 6:30 p.m. at Molasky Family Park, near East Twain Avenue at Cambridge Street.
