Volunteers presented a 2-mile-long lei at the Las Vegas sign, Mandalay Bay and Downtown’s Healing Garden on Oct. 14. The lei was made in Hawaii and shipped to Las Vegas and was organized by Maui restaurant-owner Ron Panzo. Panzo has organized several other lei-making projects, including one for victims of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting and the Women’s March in Washington, D.C.
