Lights FC midfielder Carlos Alvarez is on pace for a career year. The attacker already has two assists in two games this season. His play is likely going to draw the attention of higher-level clubs. A head-on collision Friday morning sent four people to the hospital with injuries police say were not life threatening. The crash occurred when the driver of a Honda Accord attempted to turn left onto Flamingo from Swenson Street. Police were not sure if either driver was impaired.
