At UFC 226, Las Vegas-based fighter Emily Whitmire notched a win against Jamie Moyle, who also used to train at a camp in town. After the fight, Whitmire said she was upset with a Vinny Magalhaes who’s trained with her at Xtreme Couture for coaching against her.
After losing her UFC debut last December, Emily Whitmire lost her head coach, Robert Follis, just a few weeks later. At UFC 226, she hopes to apply what he taught her and come out victorious when she faces Jamie Moyle.
All fighters involved on the UFC 226 fight card on July 7 faced off at the T-Mobile Arena during the ceremonial weigh-ins.
Ahead of UFC 226, many fighters on the card squared off at a media day at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. UFC 226 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena on July 7.
