Las Vegas police and NV Energy are investigating an incident in which a forklift knocked down 13 power poles, near Polaris Avenue and Post Road, north of Sunset Road. One person was killed Monday morning in a three-vehicle collision that left one car wrapped around a pole in the central valley. One person is dead after an early Wednesday morning crash in the northwest valley.
The single-vehicle crash was called in about 1:35 a.m. on Jones Boulevard just north of Deer Springs Way, according to Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Robert Stauffer. The driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle, died at the scene.
