Cobalt Data Centers designated as registered hosting center

Las Vegas-based Cobalt Data Centers has been designated by state gaming regulators as the registered hosting center for the state’s casino industry.

The approvals by the Nevada Gaming Commission and Gaming Control Board allows casinos to store and secure the technology and data off-site at Cobalt’s data center. The center stores gaming applications, wagering systems and other business infrastructure.

The data center features redundant systems architecture, energy-efficient design, multi-factor security and customer amenities.

“Some of the biggest casinos on the Strip already trust Cobalt to host their non-gaming applications,” said Cobalt CEO Jeff Brown. “This is an exciting and progressive leap forward for gaming in Nevada.”
