MGM Resorts to hold job fair to fill positions for summer

MGM Resorts International will hold a job fair Thursday and Friday to fill some 500 summer positions at its 10 Strip hotel-casinos.
The event will run 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the MGM Resorts Career Center, 4886 Frank Sinatra Drive.
Before attending the Career Fair, job applicants must apply online for the positions at www.mgmresortscareers.com. Applicants should bring one hard copy résumé and a valid form of identification.
The full- and part-time temporary jobs pay between minimum wage and about $15 and hour, and include; food servers, hosts, bus staff, cooks, pantry workers, kitchen helpers, bartenders, apprentice bartenders, cocktail servers, cabana hosts, pool attendants, lifeguards, and retail cashiers.
About half of the positions require work experience. Employment will run from about Feb. 28 through Oct. 31, depending on business volume.
