The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has brought the Strip to Miami's South Beach. The hotel-casino is marketing the city's newest hotel by participating in the 2011 Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival today through Sunday.
Visitors to the Grand Tasting can hang out Friday and Saturday at Slice. The two-story layout features a climate- controlled seating area. One of the hotel's bedrooms will also be on display.
To attract visitors and their discretionary income, The Cosmopolitan will offer samples from its restaurants including Holsteins and Wicked Spoon. Also, Bond mixologist Kristen Shafer will pour pink sangria and other cocktails.
Chef David Myers of Comme Ça will appear on Friday's "Today" show on NBC, the hotel said in a statement.
