Hypnotist and entrepreneur will open hair salon at Plaza
July 15, 2011 - 1:02 am
Stage hypnotist Anthony Cools will bring another double entendre to the Plaza when he opens the Exposed hair salon on Sept. 1.
For $50, men can get a haircut from bikini- or lingerie-clad haircutters on eight chairs as late as midnight six days a week. Women, who will enter through a separate door, can get their hair done by fully-clothed stylists at six chairs.
While waiting, customers can order cocktails from the Swingers Club lounge that Cools and two partners plan to open in the Plaza. Swingers refers to the nine-hole miniature golf course that will run through the lounge, not people who swap spouses as a form of recreation.
Cools has taken a partner for Exposed as well, stylist Bree Marley who has been a manager the past four years at Curl Up & Dye in Las Vegas.
The Plaza will start to reopen on Aug. 24, after a $35 million renovation, by putting its casino back into action. The two hotel towers will start to check in guests a week later.
