College slates class in security management

The Community College of Southern Nevada will hold the seven-session security management certification series starting June 21.

Classes will run 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 9 at Nova Southeastern University Campus, 8945 W. Russell Road, Suite 170.

Linda Florence and Michele Dunder will instruct. Class topics will include legal issues, operations and report writing; workplace violence; emergency and crisis management; convergence and physical security; and security leadership and public relations.
