CONSTRUCTION
Penta Building Group promoted John Cannito to chief operating officer. In his new role, Cannito is responsible for directing all of Penta’s departments, including business development, preconstruction, estimating, construction operations, and finance and corporate services.
ECONOMY
The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance named Karey Juencke economic development coordinator. She will serve as a liaison to public, private and nonprofit organizations for business attraction, creation, expansion and retention activities.
GAMING
Silverton named Cory Klerk vice president and general manager. He was the senior vice president and chief financial officer from 2000 to 2003.
LAW
Mark Tratos, founding shareholder of the Greenberg Traurig Las Vegas office, was recently named chairman of the National Judicial College board of trustees.
Lionel Sawyer & Collins attorneys J. Brin Gibson and Ketan Bhirud have become more involved in the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. Gibson has been named to the chamber’s 15-member board of directors; Bhirud has joined the 14-member IMPAC 2013-2014 Advisory committee.
MARKETING
Walters Golf named Gina Mann, an established corporate events, sales and marketing professional, to its staff. Mann will be vice president of sales, overseeing sales at Walters Golf three Las Vegas properties: Bali Hai, Royal Links and Desert Pines Golf Courses. Walters Golf also promoted Josh Hill to corporate vice president of marketing.

Harsch Investment Properties has hired Courtney Murphy Goffstein to manage the marketing efforts for the Las Vegas Valley.
Alpine Mortgage Planning named Jon LaGuardia mortgage adviser. He has been a licensed mortgage loan originator and Realtor in Nevada and California.
