M & T Maintenance was given the 2013 Best of HomeAdvisor Award. The award recognizes top-rated service professionals in the HomeAdvisor network.

Remini Street Inc. was named to the JMP Securities’ Hot 100 for 2013. The award recognizes the company as a leader in the software industry.

Aristocrat was recognized in 13 categories in the 2013 Best Slots Awards by the Southern California Gaming Guide. They were awarded for best video slot, best penny slot, luckiest slot and best slot mobile app.

EDUCATION

Communities in Schools of Nevada named Diane Fearon chief executive officer. She will oversee the Southern Nevada and Northeastern Nevada affiliates of the organization.

ENGINEERING

Slater Hanifan Group named Matt Key assistant project manager and Lindsey Nickerl engineer intern I. Both new employees will work within the company’s land development division.

FINANCE

Wells Fargo Advisors named David McClanahan senior vice president and regional brokerage manager for Nevada and the Southwest region.

LAW

Fifteen Lionel Sawyer & Collins attorneys were recognized in the 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. The company has the greatest number of attorneys listed out of all Nevada-based law firms.

Three Ballard Spahr attorneys were named to the 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Robert Kim, Bill Curran and Stanley Perry were each recognized for work in their respective practice areas. The firm was also recognized on the list as a leader in Nevada for real estate.

Twenty-one Lewis and Roca attorneys were named to Nevada Business Magazine’s 2013 Legal Elite. The firm had two practices and seven attorneys recognized in the 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers of Business.

Gary Moss and Elayna Youchah, partners in the Las Vegas office of Jackson Lewis, were named to the 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.

Fox Rothschild named Micaela Rustia Moore partner in the firm’s Las Vegas office. Her practice focuses on business reorganization and bankruptcy.

MARKETING

CIM Marketing Partners named Darren Hankel principal. He will lead the company’s digital marketing efforts as well as be involved in brand development and account management.

NONPROFIT

The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance named Chris Zunis senior vice president of economic development. He has been with the organization since 2006.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

MassMedia Corporate Communications named Karen Schroeder accounting clerk. She will work with accounts payable and human resources.

REAL ESTATE

CBRE named Tony Huffer director of project management. Before this position he served as vice president of construction for Pinnacle Entertainment.

Windermere Prestige Properties added three sales associates to its team. The new members are Diane Turner, Keli James and Ken Kunke.
