Man arrested after Sunday shooting near Cheyenne Avenue and Michael Way

An argument between two men Sunday turned physical, resulting in one dead and the another arrested.

Las Vegas police responded to a shooting early Sunday morning in the 3200 block of Point Lobos Drive, near Cheyenne Avenue and Michael Way. When officers arrived, one man was shot and the other had multiple lacerations to his face and head. Both were transported to University Medical Center.

Police arrested Las Vegas resident Jason Sise, 34, who was treated for his non-life-threatening injuries. Sise, booked in the Clark County Detention Center, faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon.

The identity of the dead man and the exact cause and manner of his death will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.
