Las Vegas police are investigating a dead body found inside a home in the Southwest part of the valley Saturday morning.
Police responded to a call of an attempted suicide at 8:14 a.m. at a house on Sleepy Spruce Street in the area of Durango Drive and Russell Road. Upon arrival, they made contact with a man inside the house.
After further investigation, police discovered the body of a dead female inside the house.
The man was transported to the hospital and homicide detectives are investigating the scene.
