Police investigate deadly shooting

Las Vegas police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left one person dead.

At about 4 a.m, police officers on patrol responded to the sound of gunshots at a business in the 5100 block of West Spring Mountain Road, near Decatur Boulevard.

Officers found three people on the scene with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. One of those people was pronounced dead an hour later at University Medical Center. One of the other victims remains in critical condition, police said.

The victims were leaving a lounge in the business complex when numerous shots were fired in the parking lot, police said.

The Clark County coroner’s office will release the victim’s identity and cause of death once the next of kin have been notified.

Police are still investigating the incident, and there is no further information at this time.
