Police searching for east valley robbery suspect

Las Vegas police need help identifying a suspect in two armed robberies at east valley businesses.

According to police, a male suspect entered a business near Charleston Boulevard and Marion Drive on Aug. 21, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, and robbed them.

The same suspect, who was spotted wearing a black, flat-brimmed Los Angeles Lakers hat, robbed another business at gunpoint near Charleston Boulevard and Nellis Boulevard on Sept. 12.

The suspect is described by police as standing between 5 feet 6 inches tall to 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 to 200 pounds.
