Police seek man who claimed to be federal agent, groped woman

Las Vegas police are asking the public to help identify a man who, claiming to be a federal agent, groped a woman.

Police said a 23-year-old woman called 911 and said she was handcuffed and groped about 3 a.m. on Sept. 3 in the area of Wyoming Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.

The suspect, an unidentified man, identified himself as a federal agent, police said. The man removed the handcuffs and fled the area before officers arrived.

He was described as a white male between the age of 45 and 55 with brown hair and a long goatee with streaks of grey. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs between 200 to 220 pounds.

The man was last seen in the 1200 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South.
