Police seek suspect in attempted kidnapping of teen girl
A 15-year-old girl managed to escape her would-be kidnapper, and police need the public’s help identifying the suspect.
On April 29, the teen was walking near Eastern and Washington avenues about 2:40 p.m. when she was grabbed by the suspect and dragged toward his vehicle, where he groped the girl, Las Vegas police said. The girl fought back and managed to get away from the man.
Witnesses saw the suspect leave the scene in a vehicle, described by police as a dark blue Hyundai Elantra.
Police describe the suspect as a male in his 30s, approximately 6 feet tall and 210 pounds with dark brown eyes and a black mohawk.
